The ACUTO440 steel really does stay rust-free even after I accidentally left one wet in the sink overnight. Both knives came out of the box sharp enough to slice tomatoes without squishing them, and the white handles look great on my counter.
The white finish looks sharp on my counter, and the ACUTO440 steel has held its edge through a week of heavy veggie prep without a single rust spot. The chef's knife feels perfectly balanced, not at all handle-heavy like my old set.
The edge on this chef’s knife is scary sharp right out of the box—sliced through a tomato without crushing it at all. Love that the steel is rust-proof too, so I don’t have to baby it after washing. These two are the only knives I’ve reached for all week.
