Progettata per rosolature intense, cotture lente e per essere portata in tavola. Le spesse pareti in ghisa trattengono il calore, mentre lo smalto resistente e anti-scheggiatura rende la pulizia facile.
That lid is a genius touch — the silicone fits so snugly that I can see the braise bubbling without lifting it and losing heat. Cleanup’s been a breeze too; even the seared-on bits wipe right off the enamel.
The red finish is even glossier in person, and the grill lid doubles as a resting surface when I’m stirring. Cleanup after a seared pork shoulder was just a quick soak and wipe—no scrubbing through burnt-on bits. My only gripe is the weight, but that’s what you sign up for with cast iron.
The first braised short rib I made came out fall-apart tender, and the thick walls kept everything bubbling evenly for the full two hours. Cleanup was honestly a breeze too, the enamel wiped right off with just a sponge.
