The modular slots actually hold my chef's knife and paring knife separately, so nothing shifts when I open the drawer fast. No more clattering or digging around, and the blades aren't knocking into each other anymore.
I used to just toss my knives in a drawer and wince every time they slid around. Now each one sits in its own slot and nothing clatters or gets nicked. Honestly the best part is not having to dig around for the one I want.
The modular dividers let me space the slots to fit my chunky chef's knife and the little paring ones in the same drawer without any wobble. Nothing clatters when I shut it now, and the blades aren't knocking into each other anymore.
