I was honestly shocked by how thin the peels come off—carrots and potatoes lose barely any flesh, so my prep scraps have shrunk to almost nothing. The blade stays sharp through a whole week of meal prepping without any dragging or catching on the skin.

The blade glides so smoothly that I'm peeling tomatoes and apples without crushing them, which never happened with my old one. It really does leave the thinnest layer behind, saving more of the fruit than I expected. Only wish the handle had a bit more grip when my hands are wet.
