I've been chopping cabbage and carrots for slaw all week and the wide blade scoops everything straight into the bowl without half of it landing on the counter. Clean even cuts too, no more sawing through onions.

The straight edge on this nakiri finally got me to stop hacking at vegetables — onion, carrots, peppers all come out even now. Also love that the wide blade means I can carry everything to the pot without dirtying a bowl.

The wide blade makes scooping diced onions straight into the pot so much easier, no more scraping off the cutting board. And the straight edge gives me really clean, even chops through carrots. Been using it almost daily for a month and it's still sharp.
