The serrated edge on these goes right through a thick ribeye without any sawing back and forth, which was the whole reason I wanted them. They've got a nice weight in the hand too. Personalizing them was a nice touch for a set that'll get used every week.
Bought these for our anniversary dinner and my husband immediately noticed the weight and balance in the handle. German steel holds a solid edge, and they went through my roast like butter without any shredding.
The serrated edge really does slice clean through a thick ribeye without any sawing back and forth. German steel feels solid in the hand and they still look sharp after a few rounds in the dishwasher.
