I wipe my hands on the apron front constantly while cooking, so having that terry lining right in the pockets means I'm not grabbing a separate towel every two minutes. The stitching has held up fine through several washes already.

The terry-lined pockets are the whole reason I bought this thing, and they actually work — I wipe my hands on them constantly while cooking and never have to go hunting for a towel. The fabric has held up through several washes without any fraying too.
