Baked a sourdough loaf last weekend and this knife sliced through the rock-hard crust like it was butter, then handled the soft middle without squishing it flat. The wave-shaped serrations really do grip instead of tear, and after sitting in the sink overnight it rinsed clean with zero rust spots.

Cuts through a baguette cleanly enough, and the wave-shaped serrations do handle softer bread without squishing it flat. But the handle feels a bit slick when my hands are slightly oily, and I’ve had to wipe the blade more often than I’d like mid-task. It’s a decent knife, though not the game-change
