The glass lid fits snug enough that I can watch my steak develop that crust without letting steam escape, and the pan itself is slicker than my old nonstick ever was. Forgot to add oil before the eggs and they still slid right off, which says a lot for a preseasoned surface.
This pan took the seasoning straight from the box and seared a steak with a crust I usually only get from cast iron. The glass lid is actually useful for checking moisture without lifting it, and cleanup was just a quick wipe. Way lighter than my old pan, too.
