The edge is thin enough that I got every last bit of batter out of the bowl, and it didn't scratch my nonstick pan at all. Folded a stiff cookie dough without the handle flexing once.

I was doubtful it could handle thick cookie dough without bending, but this spatula powered right through it and then folded a delicate meringue the same afternoon. The blade scrapes the bowl clean with almost no effort.

I’ve put this through bread dough, cookie batter, and even a stiff sourdough mix, and the head stays completely straight while still scraping the bowl clean. The flat edge doubles as a spreader, which saves me from digging out a second tool.
